Title: Farrar House [slide]
Issue Date:
Abstract: This house was built by Samuel Farrar in 1812 on the land where the Peabody Archaeology Museum now stands. Farrar served in many roles for both the academy and the seminary, as well as the town of Andover. The small white building to the right is the school's treasurer's office, where Samuel served. It moved from this site in 1880 one block down Phillips Street to its present location.
